He also served as the head of a survey conducted in 2009 in 21 States of India by NHSRC (Govt. of India), regarding the status and role of AYUSH Systems in National Rural Health Mission.

Under this section the students will practically learn how simple modifications in one’s lifestyle can bring about change in his/her health status and living. The Health Improvement Plan is given in 5 steps. The students are required to learn the instructions and observe them.
