Born on 5^th March, 1948 in Myanmar and migrated to India in 1967 he masters three languages –Hindi, English and Burmese.

Dr. Pandey joined as Pro-Chancellor of The Global Open University Nagaland having its main campus at Dimapur on 25^th June, 2018 and is holding the post till date.
